Heute wird das Urteil im Prozess zur »Goldenen Morgenröte« in Griechenland gefällt. Die Urteilsverkündung wird von Streiks und Protesten auf der Straße begleitet. Der folgende Beitrag von mir wird heute bei den Protesten in Griechenland vorgelesen.
Liebe Antifaschistinnen und Antifaschisten, liebe Freundinnen und Freunde, liebe Genossinnen und Genossen, Das Urteil, das heute im Golden Dawn Prozess gesprochen wird, ist wichtig für Euch in Griechenland, aber auch international im Kampf gegen Faschismus. Dass die gesamte Organisation, das gesamte Netzwerk vor Gericht steht, ist ein großer Erfolg. Die Nazis der „Goldenen Morgenröte“ organisieren sich nach dem Führerprinzip und schrecken nicht davor zurück, Methoden der Sturmabteilung der NSDAP anzuwenden.
Auch in Deutschland morden Nazis. Vor einem Jahr griff ein schwer bewaffneter Nazi die Synagoge von Halle und ermordete danach eine Passantin und einen jungen Mann in einem Dönerimbiss. Vor einem halben Jahr ermordete ein AfD-Sympathisant neun junge Menschen, mehrheitlich Migranten, in zwei Shisha-Bars in Hanau.
Nach jedem erneuten Mord und Anschlag sind Polizei und Politiker schnell dabei zu betonen: Das sind Einzeltäter. Dabei ist klar: Es gibt keine rechten Einzeltäter: die Attentäter von Utoya, Christchurch, Halle und Hanau teilen alle ein rassistisches Weltbild, in dem sie Juden, Muslime, Frauen und Linke hassen. Der Prozess gegen die Goldene Morgenröte ist ein Erfolg für alle, die gegen rechte Organisationen kämpfen.
Aber die Bedeutung dieses Prozesses geht tiefer. Die Radikale Rechte und die Nazis vernetzen sich international. Sie sitzen in immer mehr Parlamenten und teilweise in den Regierungskoalitionen. Es gibt einen starken Austausch zwischen griechischen und deutschen Nazis. Deutsche Nazis sind immer wieder nach Griechenland gefahren. Auch um die Schlägertrupps auf Lesbos zu unterstützen. Golden Dawn ist für viele ein Vorbild. Nazis in ganz Europa schauen neidisch auf die erfolgreiche Mischung aus Parlamentsarbeit, gewaltsamen Straßenkampf und Einschüchterung der Opposition. Ein Schlag gegen diese Strukturen ist ein Schlag gegen die gesamte Rechte Szene in Europa.
Euer jahrelanger Widerstand gegen die Goldene Morgenröte zeigt, dass der Aufstieg von Faschisten durch Massenbewegungen gestoppt werden kann und dass es keinen Automatismus gibt zwischen der kapitalistischen Krise und dem Aufstieg des Faschismus.
Wir kämpfen gemeinsam gegen die Nazis, in Griechenland und international. Auch in Deutschland sitzt mit der AfD eine Partei in den Parlamenten, in denen der faschistische Flügel immer größer wird. Wir arbeiten daran, sie wieder aus den Parlamenten zu verdrängen. In vielen Städten kann die AfD keinen Parteitag mehr machen, weil niemand Räume vermieten will. Wenn sie sich doch trifft, ist der Gegenprotest vorprogrammiert.
Eine militante Nazi-Partei versuchte am Wochenende, durch Berlin zu marschieren. Dank Hunderter Antifaschistinnen und Antifaschisten kamen die Nazis nicht weit.
Wir sagen: Faschismus ist keine Meinung, sondern ein Verbrechen.
Wir müssen den Nazis den Boden entziehen, auf dem ihre menschenverachte Ideologie Früchte trägt. Das heißt: Schluss mit der Austeritätspolitik der Institutionen, die den sozialen Errungenschaft in Europa zerstört. Wir sagen: Die Reichen müssen zahlen. Die Europäischen Staaten müssen die Grenzen öffnen und die Geflüchteten aufnehmen. Die Zustände in Moria sind eine Schande für die Europäische Union.
Es gibt in Deutschland viel Solidarität mit den Geflüchteten auf den griechischen Inseln. Wir rufen auf den Demonstrationen in Deutschland: Wir haben Platz!

Dear antifascists, dear friends, dear comrades,
The sentence pronounced today in the Golden Dawn trial is important for you in Greece, but also internationally in the fight against fascism. That the whole organization, the whole network is on trial is a great success. The Nazis of the „Golden Dawn“ organize themselves according to the leader principle and do not shy away from using methods of the Sturmabteilung of the NSDAP.
Nazis also murder in Germany. One year ago a heavily armed Nazi attacked the synagogue in Halle and then murdered a passer-by and a young man in a kebab restaurant. Six months ago an AfD sympathizer murdered nine young people, mostly migrants, in two shisha bars in Hanau.
After each new murder and attack, the police and politicans are quick to emphasize: These are single perpetrators. But it is clear that there are no right-wing individual perpetrators: the assassins of Utoya, Christchurch, Halle and Hanau all share a racist world view in which they hate Jews, Muslims, women and leftists. The trial against the Golden Dawn is a success for all those who fight against right-wing organizations.
But the meaning of this trial goes deeper. The Radical Right and the Nazis are networking internationally. They sit in more and more parliaments and sometimes in government coalitions. There is a strong exchange between Greek and German Nazis. German Nazis have repeatedly travelled to Greece. Also to support the thug squads in Lesbos. Golden Dawn is a role model for many. Nazis throughout Europe look enviously at the successful mixture of parliamentary work, violent street fighting and intimidation of the opposition. A strike against these structures is a strike against the entire right-wing scene in Europe.
Years of your resistance against the Golden Dawn are a sign that the rise of fascists can be isolated by mass movements stopped and that there is no automatism between the capitalist crisis and the rise of fascism.
We fight together against the Nazis, in Greece and internationally. In Germany, too, the AfD is a party in the parliaments where the fascist wing is growing. We are working to drive them out of the parliaments again. In many cities, the AfD can no longer hold a party congress because nobody wants to rent out rooms. If they do meet, the counterprotest is inevitable. Another Nazi Party tried to march through Berlin last weekend. Thanks to hundreds of antifascists, the Nazis did not get far.
We say: fascism is not an opinion, but a crime.
We must deprive the Nazis of the ground on which their inhuman ideology bears fruit. That means: an end to the austerity policy of the institutions, which destroys the social achievement in Europe.
We say: The rich must pay. The european states must open the borders and take in the refugees. The conditions in Moria are a disgrace for the European Union.
There is solidarity in Germany with the refugees on the greek Islands. We chant at the demonstrations in Germany: We have space!
Against Nazis and fascists, whether in Germany, Greece or elsewhere, and fortress Europe!
